INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE

Alternative and mainstream medicine work well together: acute cases and severe trauma call for traditional approaches, whereas chronic conditions often respond better in combination with holistic therapies.

Cold laser therapy.  This is a therapy that is useful in many applications, from hot spots to sinusitis and otitis, hip displasia to post-op inflammation.  This is not the laser used in surgery, but a non-thermal laser that accelerates healing.   The cold laser is a supplement and /or an alternative to traditional treatments.  Check with Dr. Brunck to see if this is appropriate for your pets' care.

Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (pet chiropractic).  (VOM) is a healing technology that locates areas of the animal's nervous system that has fallen out of communication, and re-establishes neuronal communication and thus induces healing. VOM can treat such conditions as: acute and non-acute lameness; progressive lameness; hip dysplasia-like syndromes; intervertebral disc disease;  progressive myelopathies ("down in the rears" dogs); and urinary and fecal incontinence.

  microchipping

We now offer pet microchipping! This procedure, in which the chip is implanted with a syringe-like instrument, can be performed without anesthesia in most cases. Our chips are ISO compliant and can be read by all standard scanners. The registration fee is included with the implant and there are no annual fees.

You will be provided a numbered collar tag for your pet that says, "Google this number to find my family".

In case your pet gets lost the chip can be easily read by a veterinarian or animal shelter and you will be quickly reunited.
